This Is How a Bra Should Fit

4 easy steps to make sure your bra fits perfectly.

Step 1: The band should fit snuggly on the loosest hook.

Support comes from your band so it is important that it fits securely without digging in, and lines up parallel to the ground without riding up in the back. To maintain a snug fit, you can tighten the hook overtime as your bra gets more wear.

Step 2: The underwire should sit flat against your ribcage without digging in.

The underwire should not dig in, ride up on your breast, or feel uncomfortable. It should sit flat and comfortably against your body, and fully under your breast for comfortable support.

Step 3: The cups should form to the curve of your breast.

A well-fitting cup does not mean cup overflow. The cup should form perfectly to your breast without any digging, gaping or boob spillage.

Step 4: The straps should be secure on your shoulders.

The straps should stay on your shoulders without slipping off or digging in.

The most important indicator of finding the perfect fit is how you feel in the bra. A bra should fit you and not the other way around, and support you through your entire day without discomfort.
